Indigenous Training
BCA National has been offering training in remote, regional and Indigenous communities in Business, Community Services, Conservation & Land Management, Finance and Governance for 20 years.
Our Aboriginal staff work with industry to continuously develop training programs that are current, relevant and adhere to the Australian Qualifications Framework, but most importantly to connect Aboriginal people to work.
We work with communities to identify skills gaps and conduct a Training Needs Analysis, which can be translated into a training and business development program to meet local needs.
For employers, this means:
- improved productivity
- a more skilled workforce
- greater retention
For career seekers, this means:
- greater employability
- career progression opportunities
- improved skillset
Through consultation with interest groups (including site visits) and feedback from students, we develop tailored programs to meet our Indigenous students' needs.
We look for work experience opportunities and our specialised Mentor Program boosts completion rates and ensures confident and skilled graduates.
